I went shoe shopping. There's not much else to do. Now, shoe shopping does not sound like it would be that bad, UNTIL you see what already exists in my closet....

Ya, I know. |
That is like a million pairs of shoes. I literally have so many shoes that I couldn't make them all fit in the picture. They wrap further..... Yikes. Some of the shoes are up so high that I have to have Andrew get them down for me. When you have shoes that are over 6 feet in the air (just to fit), you may have a problem.
BUT, shoes are totally my kryptonite. These new ones were on SALE. sale. I can't pass that up. Buy 1 get 1 half off. Come on! No woman could walk past that!!!
Check them out, I would've felt bad leaving them behind.

I love Steve Madden wedges. They are seriously crazy comfortable. | |

Good news is that it will give me something to do.....take pictures for the front of their new pretty little box AND to buy new boxes. Yay for a trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond! :)

OMG, is THAT how I am supposed to be oragnizing my SHOES??? I have like, over a 100 pairs... I have two 40 slot over the door things full, one of those hangy in the closet things full some stacked in boxes on the piano (the fancy carrie brandshaw ones- manolos and louboutins can't just be hanging out with the regular shoes you know- don't worry they were adopted off ebay in richer times) and the rest are scattered all over the floor. is that space-efficient to have them in the boxes like that? Do you blow up pictures for the sides of the boxes?
I tried a few different ways to organize them, and this is my favorite way. I am pretty sure it makes me lame that I actually admit that I had to try several ways to organize shoes....
I just use a 4x6 picture and some clear, shiny scotch tape. I have a certain shelf in my closet I set it on and take the picture really close up. That way they all look the same (since I take pictures at different times-basically weekly when I buy new shoes....).
I buy them at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They're like $1.99 each, so it's expensive to first set up. Every time I go, I buy a few extras, because I'm always afraid that they'll stop making them and I'll have to start over (since clearly I wouldn't be able to have boxes that don't match....).
I also like it because it keeps the shoes in good shape. They stay so pretty!
I did discover, however, that Andrews shoes are too big to fit in them, so his have to ruin the whole scheme!
