Learning English...Star Wars Style
I just got a new transfer student from Vietnam, by way of Virginia. Her English is AMAZING, so I assumed she had been in the US for many many years. Yesterday I finally got a chance to ask her and was AMAZED when she told me that she had only come from Vietnam 6 months ago! She said she didn't take any English classes in Vietnam, but knew a lot of English before she came here. "How?" I asked. "Well," she replied, "I really like:
