More Pictures?

My phone won't let me post pictures on this blog, so I actually have to sit at a computer (which I do very rarely).....So, I post all of our pictures at www.thebrownells.shutterfly.com

About Me

My photo
I have a husband and a puppy. I love one and am obsessed with the other. I'll let you figure out which is which. I love my job, my house, my students, my cheerleaders, and my life. I guess you could say things are going pretty well... I teach high school English and coach cheer. Husband is a video game designer. Guess which one the future Brownell babies will think is cooler...

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - Part 2 Movie Review

So, Harry Potter is done.  It's crazy to think that the first book came out when we were in High School.  I have really enjoyed the books and sort of enjoyed the movies (I teach English, so of course I like books more......).  I'm not a crazy fan-girl and have only read the books once each.  Actually, I only listened to the 6th on tape - I don't think I even read it.  It's crazy to think that there are no more movies though.

I couldn't stop staring at Harry's 5 o'clock shadow.  They're so old!
So, before I give you an opinion, you need to know that I have the attention span of a 5 year old.  I don't think I've ever sat through a TV show without getting up and wandering a few times.  I drive myself crazy.  Even when I teach I am a pacer.  I rarely sit for long periods of time.

I thought the movie was really good, but sort of long.  It was lots of battles where they shot colors at each other and did lots of walking around.  Now, obviously the movie was better than I'm describing it, but honestly, be prepared for that.  My favorite scene was when they showed a flashback of the first movie. OMG they looked like tiny babies.  It was craziness!  The movie was good.  I would recommend it.  Before we walked in, my sister couldn't remember if she had seen 7.1, but was still able to enjoy 7.2, so that speaks pretty highly for the movie!

Good bye Harry Potter.  I've enjoyed you and have given your movies close to $100. ha.  That's crazy!
