Beach & Cheer Practice

Yesterday was the very first day of summer for me!  yipeeee!!!!  Though I am normally quite bored during the summer, the next 4 weeks are jam-packed!!! 

Today Maximus and I went to the dog beach and met up with another dog (and human) friend.  Maximus loves to fill his beard with sand.  Then choke.  Then cough.  Then run around and begin again.  He likes the water, but doesn't like the waves.  He's a weird little dog.

Then, I headed out to cheer practice from 1-5 and discovered that it's SUPER hot outside!!!  I proceeded to get really burned.  I'm currently on fire!  Luckily I have skin that will tan by tomorrow, but it will be pretty rough in the next 24 hours.  And, this is only the 2nd practice of about a million this summer.

OUCH!!!!  I'm going to have a very interesting tan in Hawaii next week....... yikes.
